![VICIOUS VECTOR [digital design and development]](/img/logo4.png)
At heart I’m a programmer, which sees me predominantly working in front-end and back-end web development, but I discovered my love of programming in game development. I also have experience in web and mail server administration, technology and software consultancy, technical support and helpdesk operation. I lecture in digital media design and develop course material and tutorials, as well as being involved in some pretty amazing collaborative projects within my faculty.
I also regularly find myself engrossed in side projects that combine my love of technology and all things awesome, such as developing a fully-featured skin for Rainmeter so my Windows desktop not only looks neat but shows me lots of useful stats - then doing it all over again with Conky because now my Ubuntu desktop feels like it's missing something. Or hosting and configuring my own Rust server, just so I can write and test plugins and abuse my admin powers in peace. To keep track of my code I host my own git repository using the open-source software Gitlab CE, and deployed an ELK stack to monitor and analyse my web and mail server performance (and satisfy my need for all things graph and chart related).
